Angie is a versatile, captivating instructor and performer! Raised in Orlando, Florida, she trained in ballet, modern, and jazz technique at Dr. Phillips High School in the Performing Arts Magnet program. Her training later continued at Jacksonville University as a dance minor, majoring in Psychology. Upon entering the industry, Angie began her professional career as a Character Performer at Walt Disney World and as a dancer in NAO, an improv based contemporary dance company in Orlando, FL. Angie’s passion for teaching led her to become an educator in Sanford, FL. at Millennium Middle School.

She taught in the areas of dance, drama, and theater tech. After her time there, Angie was lead back to her high school alma mater, where she taught elective dance classes. At that time, she was also a dancer in Yow Dance, a leading Contemporary dance company in Orlando, FL. Angie’s dynamic background stretches to the Commercial Dance industry, booking commercials, events, and fitness model gigs with companies such as Digital Juice, Inc., Hardrive Productions, and Zoe Life Fitness.

Most importantly, Angie’s creativity and desire to contribute to the dance and dance fitness industry lead her to develop fitness and dance fitness classes for residential communities and dance studios. Most recently, she launched a series of Heels classes at BeFit Health Studio, in Lake Mary, FL., which attracts women from various backgrounds and promotes individuality and feminine appeal. Currently, Angie is choreographing and teaching at dance and fitness studios throughout Central Florida.

“My goal as a teacher is to develop a dancer into an artist from the inside out! While technique is important for a career as a dancer, helping my students build their personal character is something that will help them throughout their lifetime. There is more to dance than throwing on a pair of tights & leo and kicking your leg to your ear. Cultivating discipline, skill, integrity and appreciation for dance as an art form is HUGE in my book.”
